1. Who we are

Own Your Voice is a coaching, facilitation, and performance practice operated by Ringbinder Productions (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in Cape Town, South Africa. These Terms & Conditions apply to all services booked through ownyourvoice.co.za, including individual coaching, corporate coaching and facilitation, public workshops, and events.

2. Bookings and agreements

By booking a session, package, workshop, or event with us – whether online, by email, or in person – you agree to these Terms & Conditions. For corporate engagements, a separate written proposal or agreement may supplement these terms; where the two conflict, the specific agreement takes precedence.

Fees for individual coaching, corporate coaching, and workshops are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and confirmed prior to booking.
Payment is due as specified on your invoice or booking confirmation, via the payment methods provided (including EFT and PayFast where available).
For coaching packages (typically 4–6 sessions), payment terms will be set out in your invoice — either in full upfront or in agreed instalments.
Corporate coaching and facilitation is invoiced according to the terms agreed in the relevant proposal or purchase order.

3. Cancellations and rescheduling

Individual coaching sessions: please give at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel a session. Sessions cancelled with less notice may be forfeited.
Workshops and events: places are limited, so cancellations affect other participants. See our Refund Policy for cancellation timelines and refund eligibility.
Corporate engagements: cancellation or rescheduling terms will be set out in the specific proposal or agreement for that engagement.
We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a session, workshop, or event due to illness, unforeseen circumstances, or insufficient bookings, and will notify you as soon as possible with the option to rebook or receive a refund.

5. Client responsibilities

Coaching and facilitation work is most effective with honest participation and a willingness to engage in the process. You’re responsible for informing us of any relevant physical, psychological, or medical considerations that may affect your participation, particularly for embodied or nervous-system-focused work (such as TRE).

6. Intellectual property

All coaching materials, frameworks, workshop content, and written resources provided by Own Your Voice remain the intellectual property of Ringbinder Productions t/a Own Your Voice. Materials are provided for your personal or internal organisational use and may not be reproduced, resold, or used to deliver competing services without our written permission.

7. Confidentiality

What is shared during individual coaching sessions is treated as confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others. For corporate engagements, confidentiality terms may be further defined in the relevant agreement.

8. Limitation of liability

Own Your Voice provides coaching, facilitation, and performance training services, and does not provide medical, psychiatric, or psychological treatment. Our services are not a substitute for professional medical or mental health care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ringbinder Productions t/a Own Your Voice is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in our sessions, workshops, or events.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your booking will apply.

10. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 where applicable.
